“Healing is a process, not a destination, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. Together, we’ll explore your story, reconnect with your strengths and values, and create a path forward one step at a time.”

I partner with teens, adults, and families who are navigating difficult seasons of life and seeking a space where they can show up authentically. Whether you’re working through trauma, substance use, anxiety, life transitions, or emotional challenges, I offer compassionate, affirming support as we explore your experiences, identify your strengths, and build practical coping tools.

My work focuses on helping clients heal from trauma, navigate substance use and recovery, and develop healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges. I also support concerns related to anxiety, anger, emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationships, and LGBTQIA+ experiences. Together, we’ll build practical skills, increase self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.

As a Licensed Social Worker and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor in Hawaiʻi, I bring experience supporting teens, adults, families, and loved ones impacted by trauma, life transitions, and substance use. Alongside my work with individuals in recovery, I help families and partners strengthen connection, establish healthy boundaries, and develop tools for navigating the challenges of addiction.
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s Thompson School of Social Work and Public Health. My approach is culturally responsive and guided by a trauma-informed lens, honoring each client’s unique experiences and needs. I incorporate elements of Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) into my practice to foster insight, resilience, and lasting change. I am trained in the Invitation to Change model, which guides my work with loved ones affected by addiction by emphasizing compassion, connection, and collaborative change.

As a first-time mama, I enjoy my free time getting to know my son and watching him grow. Embracing my new role in motherhood has taught me to be in the moment and enjoy the present, a true challenge for someone who has always lived in the future.
I enjoy traveling (to Japan), learning about my Uchinanchu heritage, and trying new foods. I believe in the importance of caring for both the mind and body, and I practice this through movement (yoga and lifting), time in nature, and preparing nourishing meals for myself and my family.
How I help my clients:
I help clients reconnect with themselves by exploring their values, strengths, and life experiences in a supportive, judgment-free space. Rather than focusing on what you “should” do, we’ll work together to build insight, confidence, and practical tools that align with your goals. My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in empathy, respect, and acceptance. I strive to create a space where you can show up as your authentic self with room for reflection, honesty, tears, and laughter.
