I work with adults who are navigating the lasting effects of trauma, abuse, and difficult life experiences. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, self-doubt, shame, or emotional exhaustion and want to regain a sense of safety, confidence, and control in their lives. I also support individuals experiencing depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and stress who are looking for a compassionate space to heal and grow.

My clinical interests include trauma, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, stress management, and relationship concerns. I take a strengths-based, person-centered approach that helps clients process difficult experiences, build resilience, and develop healthier coping strategies for lasting change.

I am a Licensed Social Worker and Doctor of Social Work with experience serving individuals and families across a variety of social service settings. Throughout her career, she has worked with clients facing complex challenges, including trauma, crisis situations, and significant life transitions while advocating for their well-being and access to resources.
I earned my Master of Social Work from the Virginia Commonwealth University and her Doctor of Social Work from Tulane University. My approach integrates evidence-based practices with empathy, collaboration, and a deep belief in each client's capacity for healing and personal growth.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, traveling, gardening, and spending quality time with her family. I especially appreciate being outdoors and believe taking time to unplug and recharge is an important part of overall well-being.
How I help my clients:
I joke that my goal is to work myself out of a job - and it truly is my goal as a clinician to help you build the skills and understanding you need to be able to be resilient to what life throws at you. I will meet you where you are at to understand your unique journey and help discover the strengths you already have, but may not recognize, as well as discover the skills that you need to build. Our work begins with building a foundation of trust. In our collaboration, we will create a space safe enough to sit in quiet reflection when words fail, and courageous enough to confront uncomfortable truths, and transform that discomfort into empowerment.
Together, we will build a practical toolkit of strategies that work for YOU. These strategies can include coping strategies, communication strategies, executive functioning strategies, or more. They will be individualized to meet your needs. The skills and understanding that you cultivate in our sessions are designed to have a ripple effect - fostering a personal growth that positively impacts every area of your life.
